Environmental Criminology Research Inc, and InfoTech Enterprises Europe Sign Distributor Agreement

Vancouver, BC, Canada - London, England - May 15th. 2002

Environmental Criminology Research Inc. (ECRI), the leading supplier of Geographic Profiling software to law enforcements agencies around the world and InfoTech Enterprises Europe, a specialist software services provider, today jointly announce the signing of a distributor agreement for ECRI's innovative desktop geo-profiling software RIGEL Analyst.

Under the terms of this agreement, InfoTech will become the master distributor of RIGEL AnalystÔ and provide support, training and consultancy, both directly and through qualified re-sellers to law enforcement agencies throughout Europe and India.

"We are please to have InfoTech play a key role in the launching of our new RIGEL Analyst product into the European volume and property crime investigation market," said Ian Laverty, President of ECRI. "We believe that our experience in supplying Geographic Profiling systems to law enforcement agencies combined with Infotech's presence in the European markets will make for significant growth opportunities for both firms."

Geographic Profiling is a technique that identifies the most probable search areas for a serial offender's residence based upon crime site locations. Trained Geographic Profilers use RIGEL ProfilerÔ in violent serial crime investigations (sexual assault, homicide), whilst Crime and Intelligence Analysts use RIGEL AnalystÔ for their local non-violent serial crime investigations (Break and Enter, Auto theft, Arson).
